The Commuter Hub is located above Whole Foods, on the same floor as White Oak Physical Therapy, past Xfinity. Make a right at the corner to enter. Through the door take the elevator to the second floor and it’s the first door on the left. Stop by Monday through Friday, 9am to 4pm for help with your commute!
The Riverdale Park Station Shuttle stop has moved! You can now catch the shuttle right out front of Whole Foods. The stop was originally located behind the building due to uncertainty that the shuttle might impede traffic, but has now been relocated to the more accessible and visible location. For guidance, look for the shuttle sign parked in front of Whole Foods.
Riverdale Park Station is now a destination with Starbucks nearing its first full month of operation and Whole Foods opening its doors today, Wednesday, April 12! Together, Whole Foods and Starbucks are the first two stores to open onsite. Don’t forget that the Riverdale Park Station shuttle will take you there for free from the College Park or PG Plaza Metro stations! The shuttle stops behind the Whole Foods / Starbucks building, off Van Buren Street and runs weekdays from 6:30 AM – 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM.
The Riverdale Park Station Shuttle is now in service! The shuttle, which is free of charge to ride, services Riverdale Park Station, Prince George’s Plaza Metro Station and College Park Metro Station with breezy 15 minute headways between each stop. The shuttle is a great alternative to driving to and from Riverdale Park Station during peak traffic hours, running every weekday from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. It does not run on weekends, however. Some of Riverdale Park Station’s most anticipated amenities will be open to the public this year. Prince George’s County’s first Whole Foods anticipates to open its doors in the spring. The grocery store is wrapping up its interior fitout process and will be serving the community within weeks. Additionally, the new hiking/biking trail, which traces the historic Washington-Laurel Trolley route, has been submitted to the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission(M-NCPPC) for a safety review and will open with the Commission’s approval. Meanwhile, construction on the bridge crossing over the CSX railroad tracks is underway and scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2017.
